Project Manager (PM)

Reporting to the Director, PMO, the project manager will help manage projects ensuring they meet timelines and fall within budget usingPMI methodologies. In this position, we are seeking an Agile Project Manager who can lead a team in delivering digital transformation solutions based on agile frameworks, such as Scrum, to clients. In addition to being an effective communicator and a confident leader in stakeholder management, this individual must also be well-versed and experienced with Scrum ceremonies.


  • Provide planning, management, and delivery support for individual projects throughout all phases, in alignment with business and/or enterprise strategies.
  • With the assistance of senior management and stakeholders, define the scope, goals, and deliverables of the project in order to support business objectives.
  • Communicate project expectations clearly and timely to team members and stakeholders.
  • Assist team members and other stakeholders in setting and managing project expectations.
  • Utilize appropriate tools to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain a record of milestones and deliverables for the project.
  • Analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas by determining the frequency and content of status reports submitted by the project team.
  • Throughout the lifecycle of a project, define success criteria and disseminate them to the stakeholders
  • Identify the resources and participants required to achieve the project's objectives.
  • Prepare and submit budget proposals and recommend changes to the budget as necessary.
  • Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel within the organization as necessary.
  • During the project cycle, determine the need for additional staff or consultants and make the necessary recruitments.
  • From beginning to end, direct and manage the development of the project.
  • Create a full-scale project plan and related communication materials.
  • Provide progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

Must Have Skills:

  • Project Management methodologies/PMP Certification
  • Experience working with external vendor services
  • Resource & Capacity Management
  • University degree or college diploma.
  • A minimum of five years direct project management experience, including all phases of project development and execution
  • Knowledge of project management software is a plus
  • Asset management and smart sheet knowledge
  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft environment
  • An understanding of software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Change Management principles and practices
  • Competent with various software programs and solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential
